In the age of Synthetic Biology, we need tools for designing, debugging and compiling genetic code; a genome compiler. The idea was Inspired by the breakthrough achievement of “booting up” a synthetic bacteria by using a human-assembled genome (the program that runs a cell) that took place in the J. Craig Venter Institute. The company’s vision is to democratize the tools of creation, unleashing innovation in biotechnology that will enable a more sustainable future.
