9th of July, 2013, the China-Israel collaboration banquet was held in Sanyuanqiao Hilton Hotel, Beijing. The banquet was held by ZVCA and Israel Embassy in China. More than 60 Chinese and Israeli investors and politicians were present. The chamber of commence of Israel Embassy explained why and how Israeli government attracted Chinese investment, and discussed the current and future prospects of the collaboration.

The minister of economy of Israel, Mr. Naftali Bennett, introduced to the participants the unique high-tech business environment and the advantages of investing in Israel. In his opening speech,he explained why Israel is on the international forefront of technology innovation.

Israel has established its position as a leading research and development center. It has the second biggest number of companies listed on Nasdaq, after US. During the 2008 credit crisis, Israel pulled through successfully and managed to maintain the same development speed pre-crisis.

All parties present believed that the business collaboration between China and Israel holds a bright future, and that both governments hope to extend and strengthen the collaboration.
