Attending The 4th Ontario-China R&D and Commercialization Collaboration Forum

Chinese Hi-tech investors delegation to Toronto , Canada on Apr 27th 2015 which was organized by ZVCA, to attend to the 4th Ontario-China R&D and Commercialization Collaboration Forum which was hosted by Ontario government. There were about 500 people attend to the forum, whom are Vice-governor of Ontario Deborah Matthews, Chinese in Toronto Consul General Mr. Xue Bing and others related field representatives.

This Forum was emphasis on cooperation opportunity, cooperation environment, cooperation experience and how to boost both sides’ R&D and Commercialization Collaboration, and exchange the idea on the hot topics of hi-tech investment, intellectual property protection (IPR) etc. President of ZVCA Mr. Wang Shaojie was invited to attend the round table discussion, to deep analysis the opportunity and challenge on Ontario- China hi-tech investment cooperation for the honor guests and representatives from all over the world, as well as how to decrease the problems that are bring by culture difference during the Canada-China cooperation and made critical proposals and suggestions on how to improve the successful rate of Canada-China commercial cooperation according to Chinese investors’ practical experience, which made a deep impression on all the representatives. 

There were over 10 people in the Chinese investors delegation, every investor had stared to talk over with many Canadian enterprises which were elaborately selected by Canadian government, the talk between both sides were with high atmosphere and positive since the start of the Forum till the end. This tour provided a great chance for Chinese investors to reach many Canadian business opportunity in one time, the same as for Canadian enterprises, to enhance the mutual understanding of both sides by talking face to face. They all showed the interesting in keeping in touch with each other in the future for discussing the possibility of cooperation.
