On 4th of August, 2013, ZVCA hosted the second project evaluation meeting.

In this meeting, the committee examined and evaluated 8 projects. 6 are international projects and 2 are domestic ones. The industries include Medical and Health Care, Internet, Environment and Energy Saving, and Consumer Electronics.

A total of 18 top investors and entrepreneurs participated in the evaluation, including Shaojie Wang, President of ZVCA; Jinsheng Zhang, General Manager of Qidi Incubator; Qigao Zhao, acting director of Haifenglian Investment; Qingke Zheng, President of ruci.cn; Dr. Xianghe Kou, Manager of Shenzhen Innovation Investment co.Ltd.. 

The experts debated on different aspects of these projects: technology, business model feasibility, capital evaluation, etc. They concluded that two of the eight projects were level-A projects, i.e. extremely valuable investments.

Project evaluation meetings are ZVCA's special invite-only events with the purpose of discovering valuable investments efficiently and speeding us the investment processs. The evaluation meetings are divided into online evaluation and face-to-face meetings.
