Disaster Recovery Technical requirement

1.    Data mirror requirement

l  Support server HA.

l  It is transparent between servers to storage.

l  Support storage mirror.

2.    Data replication requirement

l  Support replication based disk and LVM.

l  Support full replication (backup), incremental replication and delta replication.

l  Support custom define replication.

3.    Data journal requirement

l  Continuous IO recorder.

l  Record the changed data and the time that it is changed.

4.    Data reduction

l  It only transfer the changed data on the WAN except the first full replication (backup).

l  The data can be compressed before sent.

l  Support split the data package to small.

5.    Cache function requirement

l  Data can be write to the cache or high-speed disk by sequence, then write to the storage according to the policy (based cache size or time interval).

6.    Snapshot requirement

l  It can continuous recode the storage snapshot and keep multiple version.

l  It can be define the time interval.

l  Support browsing history version recovery from history version.

7.    Storage requirement

l  Support FC, iSCSI, FCIP interface.

l  Support Initiator and Target mode conversion.

l  Support LVM management and configuration.

8.    Operation system requirement

l  UNIX (64 bit): IBM AIX, HP-UX, Solaris

l  Linux (64 and 32 bit): Redhat Enterprise Linux, Suse Linux

l  Windows (64 and 32 bit): Windows server

9.    Storage equipment

l  IBM, EMC, HDS, HP

l  Manage and configure by management center.

l  Support multiple language.
