Founding Partner and Managing Partner of THG Venture Capital Investment Management (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (THG Ventures).

He has over 15 years of experience in venture capital investment and management.

Mr. Luo Zhuo joined the Tsinghua University Science Park (TusPark) Development Center in early 1998, and successively served as the deputy director of the Research Office and director assistant of the TusPark Development Center. He was appointed to establish the Tsinghua Innovation Park and served as the deputy director in 1999, and establish TusPark Incubator Co., Ltd., serving as the general manager in 2001. In 2007, Luo Zhuo served as the founding partner/managing director of Tuspark Ventures and managed a number of venture capital funds under it. Under his leadership, Tuspark Ventures was awarded with the support of the National Emerging Industry Venture Capital Plan, Beijing SME Venture Capital Guide Fund, Zhongguancun Venture Capital Guide Fund, Haidian District Venture Capital Guide Fund and other government guide funds at all levels. Mr. Luo Zhuo has successively managed more than 10 venture capital funds, took charge of investment in more than 60 start-up businesses, and has successively invested in dozens of start-up businesses, including Highlander (300065), Sumavision Technologies Co., Ltd. (300079), www.ChineseAll.com (300364), GigaDevice (603986), Hanbang Technology (300449) and Smartdot Technologies Co., Ltd.

Mr. Luo Zhuo was named to the first group of Zhongguancun “High-end Leading Talent-Venture Capitalists” in 2010, and was selected as Forbes China’s Best Venture Capitalist in both 2012 and 2015. He has been serving as the chief supervisor of the Zhongguancun Private Equity & Venture Capital Association since 2013. He served as the first president of the Zhongguancun Angel Capital Association in 2014, and currently serves as the vice president. Zero2IPO, a leading integrated service provider and investment institution in China’s PEVC industry, has nominated him as China Investors TOP 100 for both year 2016 and 2017.

Mr. Luo holds a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Engineering Physics, and a master’s degree from the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University.
