After that ,he served as cadre of structural reform office of People's Government of Guangdong Province,deputy director general of Department of Macro-control of Structural Reform Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province,chief director of department of Macro-control of Structural Reform Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province,deputy director of People's Government of Guangdong Province Office ( May 1996- December 1997, Vice Mayor of Jiangmen City),deputy secretary general of People's Government of Guangdong Province Office,deputy secretary of Shantou, CPC, deputy secretary and acting mayor of Shantou, CPC,deputy secretary and mayor of Shantou, CPC, deputy secretary general of People's Government of Guangdong Province（May 2005-Dec. 2005, Served as Group Leader of Regroup Evaluation of CGB）；Party secretary and Director of GDDPC. In Feb. 2015，remove his position of being Secretary Position in GDDPC.In the afternoon of Mar. 26th, 2015， Mr. Chunhong Li was Voted by the 16th meeting of 12th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee of Guangdong Province to remove his position of being Secretary Position in GDDPC.May 2015 till now,Honored President of Guangdong Province Venture Capital Association.
