On January 15, 2020, the 8^th Innovation and Capital Forum under International Perspective was held at Beijing Four Seasons Hotel, as series activities of Zhonguancun Science Park, it was guidanced by Zhongguancun Science Park Management Committee and hosted by the Zhongguancun Private Equity & Venture Capital Association.

This forum had gathered more than 60 countries' embassies to China, international investment institutions and chamber of Commerce groups to participate, both the quantity and quality are higher than before. In addition to the regular visitors such as European countries, America and Japan, the Middle East countries represented by the United Arab Emirates, the Southeast Asian countries represented by ASEAN countries, and the Portuguese speaking countries and Macao Special Administrative Region also attended the forum this year, expressing their interest and willingness to interact with China's capital market.

In addition to internationalization, the forum focused on forefront of science and technology this year, many top scientists from China and overseas participating the forum and talked about blockchain, quantum technology, high-end manufacturing and other related fields, which is rare mentioned in other investment conference. In the view of the organizers, innovation investment is closely related to the development of science and technology. Beijing is the region with the most intensive scientific and educational intellectual resources. Zhongguancun is a science and technology innovation center with global influence. So Zhongguancun series forums should be Highlighted science and technology continuously.

 Mr. Jason Wang, President of ZVCA delivered a keynote speech

Mr. Jason Wang, President of ZVCA delivered a keynote speech, he pointed out that "2019 is a difficult year for the development of the equity investment industry, failures are inevitable, and the seeds of hope are brewing." He called on society to "respect failure, respect persistence!" At the same time, he also said that both technological innovation and supply side reform are inseparable from the support of the investment market, believing that the latest series of policies and reforms published by government will bring new opportunities to the industry in 2020. Finally, he encouraged his industry partners “be brave with calmness, go forward steadily and keep on developing".

 Professor Huang Jiangnan delivered a keynote speech

Professor Huang Jiangnan, famous economist, one of the four main reform advocates in 1980’delivered a keynote speech which named " A Community with A Shared Future for Mankind, China’s Exploration and Attempt.

 Mr. Ali Obeid al zahiri delivered a video speech

Mr. Ali Obeid al zahiri, UAE ambassador to China, delivered a video speech. He said that China's development mode is very similar to United Arab Emirates, The United Arab Emirates, located in the core area of the Middle East corridor, has naturally become a market center in the Middle East and Africa, as well as a connection point between India, Southeast Asia and China. The UAE will continue to interact with Chinese enterprises through bilateral agreements and some cooperative projects.

 Mr. Zhang Qingrui made a keynote speech

Mr. Zhang Qingrui, former president of Taiwan University, made a keynote speech on " Disruption and Revolution of Quantum Computer”.

 Mr. Zhu Jiaming delivered a video speech

Mr. Zhu Jiaming, a famous economist who delivered a video speech to the all attendees cause he was on business trip in UN. His colleague Mr.  Bai Liang, executive dean of Chinese Institute of Digital Assets research institute explained the PPT on behalf of him.

Most of these guests are optimistic about the future trade prospects with China, and they hope to attract more Chinese investment to their own countries. They thought infrastructure investment, education industry, e-commerce, logistics, life science and health industry, renewable energy, finance are all promising.
