On October 18, 2019, Brazil time, Lin LIN, Secretary General of ZVCA, and Yang GENG, vice president of Beijing RichLink Capital, which is ZVCA’s member, attended the "Warm-up, Startout Shanghai Circle" activity held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The event was a series of government activities initiated by the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Bureau. ZVCA was invited as the organizer of the enterprise docking and exchanging activity in Shanghai in early December.

Before, the expert group of ZVCA members had already selected 19 startups from 40 projects through scores, who would be given the opportunity to visit China in December.

At the warm-up training meeting held in Sao Paulo on October 18, Lin LIN and Yang GENG respectively introduced ZVCA, precautions for December event, introduction of China's innovation market, questions and difficulties that multinational start-ups might meet when landing in China, successful cases of incubation of transnational start-ups, business environment in China and progress of intellectual property protection.

On October 19, Lin LIN and Yang GENG communicated with the 19 startups respectively in 20 mins and counselled on their needs in China.

By hosting this event, ZVCA will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Portuguese speaking countries and Latin American countries, and explore the implementation cooperation practice for Chinese enterprises going abroad and Brazilian enterprises entering China.
