BOCOM Capital Management Co., Ltd. （’BOCOM Capital’）was established on December 29, 2018, with a registered capital of RMB 500 million. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. and is managed with reference to the first-level subsidiary of Bank of Communications. In March 2020, BOCOM Capital officially launched private equity investment business, after getting approval from China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission; in May 2020, the company completed the filing and registration as the private equity fund management company under Asset Management Association of China.

As the equity investment platform of the Bank of Communications Group, based on contributing to the development of Shanghai International Financial Center, BOCOM Capital focuses on participating in restructuring, equity investment, direct investment and other businesses with regard to the construction of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone LIN-GANG Special Area and to the economic structure adjustment, industrial optimization and upgrading and coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta, by means of integrating BOCOM group's resources and taking advantage of the group's full license, . The company aims to reach the scale of tens of billions of equity investment funds within 2-3 years, and become an important pillar of the Bank of Communications Group in serving emerging industries and innovative economy within 3-5 years. Through the establishment of an investment-loan-combinationmechanism with Bank of Communications, BOCOM Capital provides invested companies with multiple financing sources to improve investment returns.
