Tencent,Hillhouse Capital may invest 2 billion in MINISO

On September 30th, MINISO is currently negotiating financing with Tencent and Hillhouse Capital, raising 2 billion yuan and valued at 15 billion yuan. It is understood that the transaction has come to an end and several parties are communicating details. If the financing is completed, this will be the first time that Chuangchuang has introduced external capital since its establishment in 2013.

According to official data, there are currently more than 3,000 stores worldwide, including more than 70 countries and 1,100 stores. Informed people revealed to Yiou that in terms of domestic stores, this year's domestic and offline income of MINISO's excellent products is expected to be the same as that in 2017, and the overall price will remain between 8 billion and 9 billion yuan. This means that the growth of domestic stores has peaked.

So far, MINISO has about 1,100 stores overseas, covering Europe and third world countries. In the first half of 2018, the terminal market sales reached 380 million US dollars.

In addition, since March of this year, MINISO has begun to lay out the new home retail brand NOM (the same name as the similar brand NOME founded by Chen Hao) and MiniHome. The former has opened nearly 70 stores within half a year, and the product categories cover clothing, accessories, household items, etc., of which clothing accounts for 50%. The latter landed in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, respectively, and two stores, the area is more than 1,000 square meters, mainly home, supplemented by furniture.
