On the afternoon of December 3, 2025, the "Aiming for the Summit" book club event was held as scheduled and concluded with complete success.

At the book club event, Mr. Xie Huixin, Vice President of the Service Department of Phoenix Tree Lounge, delivered a profound and inspiring speech.

During the sharing session, author Wu Hao expressed that mountaineering is a form of spiritual practice. He eloquently recounted the ethereal sensations inspired by the mountains, noting that it is precisely this harmonious resonance with nature that captivates him.
And with each departure, one must confront numerous unknowns. No matter how thoroughly prepared, there is never a guarantee of a safe return. It is precisely this courage to face the unknown and challenge the limits that ultimately enables ordinary individuals to achieve the extraordinary.
Finally, author Wu Hao pointed out that one should not become fixated on reaching the summit. If conditions are unfavorable during the climb, decisively retreating is often the best way to draw closer to one’s goal. Isn’t this, too, a philosophy of life? Each ascent is an inquiry into the soul; each pause is a preparation for the next move.
There is only one true heroism in the world: to see life as it is, and still love it. And author Wu Hao has become a hero in the hearts of climbers. Whether we face the majestic peaks of nature or the daunting summits in our lives, the heart that yearns for the summit forever carries an unquenchable flame.
